WINTERTHUR, SWITZERLAND, June 24, 2015-

The German Federal Cartel Office concludes the proceedings launched against Autoneum Germany GmbH in 2013. The settlement payment amounts to 29.5 million euros.

The German Federal Cartel Office launched an investigation in September 2013 against Autoneum Germany GmbH, since 2011 successor to Rieter Automotive Germany GmbH, as well as against other companies on the account of price-fixing agreements. By paying the amount agreed in the settlement, Autoneum Germany is able to bring to a close the proceedings that primarily concerned the actions of its predecessor.

Autoneum Germany cooperated with the authority during the proceedings and no damage has been incurred by customers of Autoneum.

Autoneum commits itself in its Code of Conduct (www.autoneum.com/de/ueber-autoneum/code-of-conduct/) to upholding all applicable legislation, including antitrust and competition law.
