Bracell 1H 2015 results: revenues down 9% from 2014 to $221 million, first period as ‘pure-play’ dissolving pulp producer [Links]




OAKLAND, CA, August 24, 2015-

Bracell reported its first half 2015 results, the first reported financial period as a global pure-play specialty cellulose producer.

In the first half of 2015, the sales volume of the group's rayon-grade dissolving wood pulp (DWP) increased by 7% and all of it was sold at prevailing open market spot prices to a company controlled by the ultimate controlling shareholder of the company under a three-year pulp supply agreement which became effective on 1 January 2015, the company said.
