Everybody agrees US diaper market not growing; big questions: is it shrinking, and by how much?
HOUSTON, TEXAS, January 25, 2012- Baby diaper unit sales in the United States declined last year, according to retail sales figures compiled by SymphonyIRI Group, a Chicago-based market research firm. There are indications diaper sales have been flattening or even trending down for several years, but if SymphonyIRI's numbers are right it could be getting hard to dismiss a weakening tendency as a product entirely of a troubled economy.
