EAST WALPOLE, MA, May 19, 2015-

Hollingsworth & Vose, a global leader in the supply of advanced materials for filtration, battery separator, and industrial applications, today announced plans to add Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery separator production capability in its East Walpole, Massachusetts manufacturing facility. This expansion will support growth in demand for AGM battery separator material and free up existing capacity to support further growth of H&V's filtration media products.

The new East Walpole production line is expected to begin operation by mid-2016 and will serve customers globally. H&V will continue to serve customers from their existing facilities in New York, Massachusetts, the United Kingdom, and China.
