CLOVERDALE, CA, February 26, 2015-

Shalag Industries will be adding a third thermalbond line at its plant in Oxford, North Carolina. An announcement of the project from state governor Pat McCrory quoted Jeff Harari, CEO of Shalag US Inc., saying that "When our new line is complete and running at anticipated levels, it will increase our overall production capacity in the US by 60 percent, and increase our entire company's production capabilities by 25 percent."

The company told Nonwovens Markets that the new line, with a capacity of about 7,000 tonnes, will start up in September 2015.
