OAKLAND, CA, March 17, 2017-

Domtar informed North American customers that its northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp price will increase $20/tonne, effective April 1 until further notice, industry contacts also told RISI. The firm also plans $30/tonne price increases on two other key grades of pulp.

Montreal-headquartered Domtar slated a new NBSK list price of $1,080/tonne with the $20/tonne increase.
