Freedonia study of internal combustion engine filter market: US growing at 2%/year pace
CLEVELAND, OH, January 17, 2017-
The US is the largest market for internal combustion engine (OEM) and related filters in the world, and in 2015 was significantly larger than the Chinese market, which was the second largest. According to analyst Brendan Eyre, “This is not surprising, given that the number of motor vehicles in use in the US is far greater than in any other country in the world.” US product demand totaled $4.5 billion in 2015, accounting for 17 percent of global ICE filter sales.
