INDA’s Nashville event has ‘WOW’ factor, with a focus on wiper flushability, sustainability, and innovation

CLOVERDALE, CA, June 22, 2017-

Standing on the stage of Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, delegates to INDA’s World of Wipes 2017 Conference could be forgiven for momentarily losing themselves in the show business aspects of the event. But after the jollity of the welcome reception was over, more than 450 attendees got down to the business of discussing such key topics as flushability, sustainability, and innovation.

Presenters told the WOW audience the market is likely to continue growing faster than GDP in North America, and that new customer solutions continue to be the key to that growth. They pointed out the sustainability challenges in an industry that makes products intended to be used a few times or even just once – and the creativity that can help make that sustainability a reality. And they were warned that key stakeholders need to get together on the evolving drive for flushability or put key business opportunities at risk.
