CLOVERDALE, CA, August 25, 2016-

Two major Israeli nonwovens manufacturers reported strong profit gains in their most recent financial quarters, on very modest revenue increases. The companies also issued progress reports on expansion plans in the country; and Nonwovens Markets learned that Albaad is installing a wet wipes production line in Poland.

According to Israeli media, Albaad Massuot Yitzhak Ltd.’s profit for the latest quarter was more than 80% higher than in the year-ago period, hitting NIS 16 million ($4.2 million). By contrast, revenues, at NIS 391 million, were just 3% higher than a year ago.
