Korean regulator orders recall of 10 Yuhan-Kimberly wipes brands over presence of methanol [From the web]




SEOUL, January 13, 2017-

Ten wet wipe brands from South Korea's Yuhan-Kimberly were taken off shelves on Friday after they were found to be contaminated with a toxic chemical, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) said.

The brands are HUGGIES PURE BABY WIPES, HUGGIES PREMIER BABY WIPES, GREEN FINGER NATURAL MOISTURE, HUGGIES NATURE MADE BABY WIPES, HUGGIES PREMIER, HUGGIES PURE, GREEN FINGER MOISTURE, GREEN FINGER PURE, HUGGIES SOOTHING CARE and HUGGIES NATURE MADE.

The Seoul-based company said it will recall all products on the shelves, sold and in stock. It also promised to refund affected customers.
