CLOVERDALE, CA, January 19, 2017-

The Belgium-based producer of disposable personal hygiene products Ontex is set for further growth in Latin America.

Following the takeover of Mexico’s Grupo Mabe earlier in 2016, the company entered into an agreement in December to acquire the personal hygiene business of Hypermarcas (HM personal hygiene) for an enterprise value of R$ 1 billion ($306.3 million).
