CLOVERDALE, CA, February 4, 2016-

Even as it starts up a new plant of its own in North Carolina, Owens Corning announced simultaneously with Ahlstrom Corp. late last month that it will buy Ahlstrom's Building & Wind business in a Euro 73 million ($79.5 million) transaction. The acquisition should be wrapped up in the first half of this year.
