Suominen moves to global management structure for its operations




HELSINKI, October 26, 2016-

Suominen announces organizational changes that will also have an impact on the Corporate Executive Team.

Suominen has decided to eliminate the current geographical split of its Operations function and form a unified Global Operations function to ensure global approach to customers. Moreover, to elevate Suominen’s manufacturing to the next level, Suominen will establish a new global function of Operational Excellence.

Mimoun Saïm, currently Senior Vice President, Operations EMEA, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Global Operations. Larry L. Kinn, currently Senior Vice President, Operations Americas, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence. Both Mr. Saïm and Mr. Kinn continue as members of Suominen’s Corporate Executive Team, reporting to Nina Kopola, President & CEO of Suominen.

This organizational change allows Global Operations to focus even stronger on Manufacturing and Supply on global basis, while Operational Excellence concentrates on enhancing our Process Technology and Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, among other manufacturing support functions”, Nina Kopola, President & CEO, says.


The organizational change will be effective as of 1 April 2017.
