AJ Nonwovens opens new nonwovens plant in Texas with two state-of-the-art needlepunch lines
SAN FRANCISCO, August 23, 2023-
AJ Nonwovens officially inaugurated its new nonwovens plant in Waco, TX, on June 15, the company reported in a press release. The event was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by AstenJohnson business leaders, government representatives and members of the local community.
AstenJohnson announced the project in April 2022 with an initial investment at the site including a 220,000-ft2 manufacturing facility and two state-of-the-art needlepunch lines. The facility will also provide room for two additional lines, which will be added as demand requires, the company said.
