At the end of May 2025, Essity’s feminine care brand Libresse launched new feminine napkin series in China, using topsheet made from 100% Xinjiang cotton to offer good function of skin-friendly touch. According to the company, topsheet of the new feminine napkin series has passed OEKO-TEX certification.

Aside from the 100% cotton topsheet, the new cotton feminine napkins claim to minimize skin irritation by using techniques of reduction of chemical substances addition.
