Fifteen cases of COVID-19 reported at P&G fem hy plant in Ontario




WILMOT, NH, December 2, 2020-

Several employees at Procter & Gamble's Belleville, Ontario feminine hygiene products plant have tested positive for COVID-19, according to a joint announcement by the company and local public health authorities dated November 30. The plant was still operating, and the company was working with Hastings Prince Edward Public Health (HPEPH) on contact tracing.

The number of positive tests on Monday was nine according to the announcement. The plant is estimated to employ about 1,000 people plus another 600 third-party workers. Local media outlets said that the total of positive tests had reached 15 yesterday, with a larger number reportedly being asked to self-isolate.
