LUDWIGSBURG, Germany, April 24, 2018-

In the financial year for 2017, MANN+HUMMEL increased sales revenue to reach 3.9 billion euros (2016: 3.48 billion euros). On a currency adjusted basis this corresponds to a growth of 11.8%. The EBIT level at 185.1 million euros (2016: 115.7 million euros) has improved significantly. The EBIT margin was 4.8% (2016: 3.3%).  

MANN+HUMMEL CFO Emese Weissenbacher was generally satisfied with the annual result: "As announced last year, in the course of 2017 we were able to further increase sales revenue and also substantially improve our annual result." EBIT increased by 69 million euros to reach 185.1 million euros. After adjustment for extraordinary effects from non-scheduled impairments to the amount of 14.2 million euros, the operating result amounted to 199.3 million euros.
