WILMOT, NH, December 3, 2020-

Meltblown specialist Innovatec Microfibre Technology GmbH & Co. KG is adding its second spunbond machine, in addition to three new meltblown lines already installed this year that have a total of five beams. The spunbond line is expected to start up in July 2021, joining one brought into service in 2015.

When it starts up, the new spunbond machine will initially have one beam and a capacity of 5,500 tonnes. The line utilizes Reicofil's RF4 BiCo technology, and has a width of 3.2 meters. It will be installed in a new structure being erected adjacent to the company’s existing plant in Troisdorf, Germany. The new building is scaled to house additional machines.
