Innovatec invests in Reicofil Bico spunbond fabrics plant
TROISDORF, Germany, November 5, 2020-
Market leader for meltblown fabrics, Innovatec Microfibre Technology GmbH & Co. KG announced today to significantly increase the production of technical spunbond fabrics as of 2021 in order to further expand market growth. After increasing meltblown capacities by 5,000 metric tons in total in 2020, the Troisdorf company also already invested early in 2020 in the expansion of spunbond fabric production. The planners chose the most modern and efficient spunbond plant for manufacturing high-grade technical spunbond nonwoven based on Reicofil BiCo Technology by Reifenhauser. The initial start up is planned for July 2021.
“With this consequent focus of innovative strength and highest quality standards, INNOVATEC has become the market leader in the field of meltblown fabrics. We want to pursue this path in the market of spunbond fabrics by sustainably expanding our growth” owner Christian Kloeber explains the business strategy. A production hall currently under construction in Troisdorf will accommodate the nonwovens machine and could in the future accommodate further production lines, ensuring significant further growth. Innovatec is initially concentrating on the production of technical spunbond. The new spunbond plant is based on the RF4 BiCo technology by Reifenhauser with a production width of 3.20 m.
