Chinese nonwovens manufacturer Anhui Jinchun Nonwoven Co. (Jinchun) posted its 2024 earnings results in late April. Revenue achieved a year-on-year increase of 14.65% to 1.03 billion yuan ($142.1 million). Net profit attributable to owners of the parent rose by 2.2% to 30.94 million yuan. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent after deducing non-recurring profit and loss skyrocketed by 262.45% to 12.33 million yuan.

In 2024, revenue of the nonwovens business grew by 11.44% to 900.6 million yuan, accounting for 87.23% of the total revenue of Jinchun. Gross profit margin of the nonwovens business was 8.34%, up 1.38 percentage points. Revenue of the ES fiber business rose by 59.15% to 103.17 million yuan, accounting for 9.99% of the total revenue. Revenue from the Chinese domestic market shot up by 10.75% to 914.69 million yuan. Revenue from the overseas market jumped by 57.81% to 117.72 million yuan.
