Kimberly-Clark to close plant in Eldorado do Sul, Brazil, moving production to its other sites in the country

CLOVERDALE, CA, February 8, 2019-

Kimberly-Clark will close its hygiene products plant in Eldorado do Sul, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, the company told Nonwovens Markets sister publication PPI Latin America today. According to Brazilian media, about 260 workers at the plant will be affected.

When the facility ceases operation, its product and customer portfolio will move to other K-C sites in the country.
