Looming Israeli-Iranian hostilities could worsen shipping crisis
SINGAPORE, April 19, 2024-
On April 13, Iran hit Israel with direct missiles. This is the first direct attack between the two Middle-Eastern neighbors after simmering decades-long hostility.
Israel has never before attacked Iranian land, but in the aftermath of Iran’s missile launch, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel will “reserve the right to protect itself.”
