New Chinese lines discussed at Wuhan trade fair total two dozen, making ATB, spunlaid, spunlace

CLOVERDALE, CA, May 9, 2019-

Despite scattered reports from market observers indicating that major sectors of the Chinese nonwovens market are seeing early signs of overcapacity, manufacturers in the country continue to add capacity at a hectic pace.

Attendees at a recent trade fair in the country talked about two dozen new machines joining the hygiene sector during the 2018-2020 period. The count also included one new converting plant and a new fiber line.
