Precision Textiles acquisition of former Auria plant results in restart of several nonwovens machines

WILMOT, NH, September 16, 2021-

When Precision Textiles leased an idled needlepunch plant in Troy, North Carolina, it acquired “several non-woven lines” as part of the deal, according to a spokesperson. Multiple machines were scheduled to restart as a result of the acquirer’s plan to manufacture bedding materials at the site.

The spokesperson said three needlepunch lines have started up, with six expected to be in operation by year’s end. Also, by that time there will be two high-loft lines running.
