Resolute plans price hikes on fluff and other pulp grades, effective Feb. 1
SAN FRANCISCO, January 22, 2021-
Resolute Forest Products (Resolute) informed North American customers that prices across five key grades of market pulp would increase $65-130/tonne, effective February 1 until further notice, Fastmarkets RISI has learned.
Resolute announced its northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp list price would increase to $1,300/tonne. The firm didn’t state how much the increases are on any grade of pulp month-over-month. But its Feb. 1 NBSK list is $110/tonne above its last announced price of $1,190/tonne that went into effect on Jan. 1.
