Rousse reflects on 10 years at the helm of INDA and the past, present & future of nonwovens in North America

RALEIGH, NC, August 18, 2022-

On January 31, 2023, Dave Rousse will retire after more than 10 years as president of INDA, the North America-based nonwovens industry association. Rousse, who is currently serving as president emeritus of the association with Tony Fragnito having succeeded him as president earlier this year, began his tenure with INDA in October 2012. At the time, the world was emerging from the financial crisis of the late 2000s, and Rousse would spend the next decade steering INDA through a range of challenges and opportunities.

As Rousse prepares for what’s next, Nonwovens Markets sat down with him to discuss his tenure as president of INDA and solicit his thoughts on issues ranging from flushability to material inputs and end-of-life concepts to indoor air quality and the COVID-19 pandemic.
