SHANGHAI, September 15, 2022-

Sateri, the largest producer of viscose fiber in the world, and a member of the Royal Golden Eagle ("RGE") group of resource-based manufacturing companies, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Tongling facility in China on Sept. 8.  

Located at Shizishan high-tech zone of Tongling city, this facility will manufacture 37,000 tonnes of spunlace nonwovens and 5,000 tonnes of nonwovens products after being put into operation. The construction project includes two phases. The spunlace house will be constructed in the first phase and the wetlaid and products houses will be constructed in the second phase. A total of five different production lines will be added in this facility, including a cross-lapping spunlace nonwoven line, flushable nonwoven line offered by a domestic machine supplier, a wetlaid spunlace nonwoven line offered by an overseas supplier, a flushable nonwoven line offered by overseas supplier, and a dry wipe production line.
