Teijin Cordley Limited, the Teijin Group's  man-made leather business, announced today that it has developed Maestley^TM, a new  high-grade natural leather substitute. Maestley^TM has equivalent texture and richness to natural leather and other superior attributes. Sales of Maestley^TM will begin this spring.

Teijin Cordley developed Maestley^TM through innovative developments in fiber selection, non-woven structures, based material density and lamination methods. The company will expand its series of Maestley^TM products by adopting natural leather processing procedures in collaboration with Japanese tanners.
